隨著中國改革開放的不斷深入,英語已成為人們對外交流的重
要工具。“聽、說、讀、寫、譯”是學(xué)習(xí)英語的幾個基本功,而“聽”被排
為**,由此可見其在語言學(xué)習(xí)中的重要地位。不少學(xué)生反映,學(xué)了
好幾年英語,可仍然無法與外國人交流。因此,如何使學(xué)生在較短的
時間內(nèi),較快地提高聽力水平是我們編寫本教材的初衷。
這套教材,可供中專學(xué)校、職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院的在校生及成人非英語
專業(yè)的專科生及英語愛好者使用。
這套教材含學(xué)生用書、教師用書及配套光盤。
學(xué)生用書共分三冊,前兩冊以日常生活為題材,從學(xué)生熟悉的身
邊事開始,循序漸進,以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合聽力水平。第三冊中的商貿(mào)
英語,重點對學(xué)生進行崗位訓(xùn)練;求職應(yīng)試英語,旨在幫助學(xué)生順利
求職,輕松通過面試。
教師用書**冊,內(nèi)容包括:聽力材料的全文及練習(xí)、參考答案,
必要的注解以及某些專業(yè)知識介紹,這主要是為那些非貿(mào)易專業(yè)學(xué)
生進行講解時使用,教師可根據(jù)情況進行取舍。
配套光盤包括全部課文和練習(xí)所要求的錄音,由外籍教師按順
序錄制。
教材中的口語練習(xí)部分是為了給學(xué)生提供一個與課文所學(xué)內(nèi)容
相關(guān)的訓(xùn)練素材,教師可根據(jù)學(xué)生的情況來安排教學(xué)時間。
這套教材由河南省外貿(mào)學(xué)校、山東外貿(mào)職業(yè)學(xué)院、煙臺市職業(yè)技
術(shù)學(xué)院、廣東省外貿(mào)學(xué)校合作編寫。在編寫過程中,鄭州大學(xué)教授黃
中的外貿(mào)專業(yè)術(shù)語及其在日常工作中的用法提出了許多建議。在
此,我們對所有支持和幫助本書編寫的人員表示衷心的感謝,并請使

Functional Expressions( Beginning a Speech)

South African tourist John Shuttle from Kazakhstan's

Along with two astronauts, Shuttle started his eight-day visit to the

Shuttle, a 28-year-old millionaire, is the second tourist to pay his
